Pricing and Days Rate

So how much does a tattoo cost from me? Great question! Here's how I break don my pricing for tattoos:

WHATS THE MINIMUM?

The lowest amount I charge for Tattoos is $150, and goes up from there. This gives me a base price to start from, then varies with the design. *Please note: I base my prices off of Location, Tattoo Time, Design Intricacies, and if the piece calls for color or black & grey. (color tattoos will always be a little more)

DO YOU CHARGE HOURLY?

No, timing of tattoos are always different. Sometimes a larger tattoo won't take as long as a smaller piece. So I always charge per piece, that allows myself and the client to focus on the actual project, versus how much time we're taking.

WHAT'S A DAY RATE?

My day rates are for larger pieces that require an entire day to finish. My day rates are $1,250 which means, its you an I all day from 11am until you're done getting tattooed. If your project requires more than a day, my day rate will bump down to $900 (for more than a single day.)

So to wrap this up, my prices range from $150-$1,250

Preparing for your Tattoo

one thing I get asked a lot is how to prepare for a tattoo. Whether its your first tattoo, or you're about to get a big project done. Here are some tips for you to better prepare yourself on having the best tattoo experience, possible.

BEFORE:

Before your tattoo session, lets make sure you have a solid dinner the night before. Also, you want to make sure to have a good breakfast the day of, this allows your body to absorb the proper carbs needed for your body to have the best experience, and results of your new tattoo. Hydration is equally important, so make sure you're plenty hydrated as well.

DURING:

Comfort is a big deal when getting tattooed, especially if your session is going to be a long one. For the longer sessions, be sure you bring yourself a pillow or small blanket. Make sure these are smaller items, as you don't want the cloth/fabric to ever touch the area getting tattooed. Snacks! Snacks are important because it gives your body little bursts of energy throughout your tattoo. Lastly, WATER. Again, Hydration is important so make sure you have some water handy.

AFTER:

Depending on the size of the tattoo, rest is always the best option after getting a piece done. Smaller pieces don't require as much "rebooting" as you would with a larger tattoo. If you have a big piece, the best thing is to repeat the first step. Eat a good dinner and allow your body to rest.

Tattoo Aftercare

Just got a new tattoo and forgot what to do with it? Here are some steps to follow for better healing. Please note, these aftercare tips are based on how MY work heals, this does not speak for every tattoo artist and their process.

1.) After receiving your new piece, be sure to clean it with Warm Water and Anti-Bacterial Soap (Gold Bottle of Dial or Cetaphil Non-Scented) when you get home, or right before bed. Repeat the same step after you wake up.

2.)  Throughout the day, apply a thin layer of Non-Scented Lotion to your tattoo (Lubriderm, Aveeno, Ceravae, etc.) and keep applying throughout the day as it feels dry. Everyones skin heals differently, so Lotion Application may vary. Just apply as needed whenever it feels a bit dry. You also want to keep your tattoo clean throughout your day, so be sure to clean it once or twice as the day wears on.

3.) Tattoos will rarely scab, but more commonly "flake" while healing. You may see these flakes in the shower during the healing process, this is TOTALLY NORMAL! The tattoo will flake until its done, revealing your beautiful new tattoo!

4.) Things to Avoid: Direct Sun Contact, Pools (Chlorine), Oceans/Beaches (Bacteria), Scented Soaps and Lotions which contain Alcohol that may potentially harm your new piece.

DO NOT use Petroleum Jellies such as Vaseline, A&D Ointment, Neosporin, etc.

*Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until Tattoo is Fully Healed*
